HOW IT STARTED.
When Ian did the ELTON JOHN tribute with Centrestage in 2016, PE's most successful comedian Gino Fabbri was on drums. They hit it off immediately - and soon were creating characters together backstage. When their schedules coincided they created this dynamic new duo ;
and in August 2018 they launched their first show.
COMMON AND CLASS
For the first show they created two different characters,
Ian as the 'stuck up showbiz musicale star' and Gino as the 'doff malkop' -
the first show was a hit playing for months in 2018, before touring nationally in 2019.
A fascinating mix of musical virtuosity, with Gino's superb drumming and Ian's Pianistic Pyrotechnics ; Gut-Aching Laughter ; Ludicrous Characters and their Combined Super Charged Energy made for an explosive, crowd pleasing phenomena.
